Tomasso, a passionate LEGO enthusiast, has been documenting his ambitious building projects on the internet. Just recently, he unveiled his entry for the LEGO Ideas competition: a faithful replica of the Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus, comprising a remarkable 2,628 individual LEGO pieces. Remarkably, his model was meticulously crafted to closely resemble the original, and it achieved this goal with great success.

Now, Tomasso has taken on an even more impressive endeavor—a recreation of the Pioneer DJM 900 Nexus, a larger, rectangular audio mixer widely used in clubs. What sets this LEGO rendition apart is that it is fully functional. The volume indicators elegantly appear and vanish as you turn the master knob and slide the faders up and down. Additionally, the crossfader can be effortlessly moved from side to side.

For those with a penchant for effects, turning the effects knob presents a delightful feature. Users can choose from a selection of four original effects, which then vividly appear on the board’s LED panel.

If you’re intrigued and want to show your support for Tomasso’s Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus creation, you can find the project online. Don’t forget to check out the mesmerizing build process of the Pioneer DJM 900 Nexus below.
