1500+ Cans Seized In Portland Writer’s Home
Homeboy should have had a spot where he kept all his supplies. These coppers are always on the hunt for shit like this, especially when your in their face with it. Plus the documentary, I think I posted it a few weeks back, is what helped the coppers catch main man.

PORTLAND, Ore. — On Tuesday, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) seized over 1,500 cans of spray paint, valued at more than $10,000, from the home of a suspected graffiti vandal in Southeast Portland.
James S. Fischel, identified by the police as the resident, is accused of creating GIMER tags throughout the city. According to the PPB, GIMER stands for “Graffiti Is Me Escaping Reality.” Fischel is also alleged to have supplied materials to other graffiti vandals.
The search warrant was executed at the residence located near Southeast 174th Avenue and Mill Street. Although Fischel, 40, was not present at the time, police are aware of his whereabouts and are pursuing criminal charges against him.
The investigation began in May when two PPB officers came across a YouTube docuseries titled “CHAOSTOWN,” which features an episode named “Portland is losing the ‘graffiti war.'” The episode showcased Fischel, who attempted to hide his identity. However, the officers successfully identified him and his home. In the docuseries, Fischel referred to his residence and his extensive collection of spray paint as “every graffiti writer’s fantasy.”
“It was pretty clear from the video that there was a massive amount of graffiti supplies and that this location was being used as a staging point for a lot of graffiti crimes in the city,” said Officer Nate Kirby-Glatkowski. “He described it as a resource for taggers to use before they went out on graffiti missions to get what they need.”
