Wescosa OG Mini-Wides & Ultra-Wides In Stock
Being a mentally ink ink & marker fanatic has it’s ups & downs. The ups usually being locating a certain super-rare, hard-as-fuck-to-find marker and being able to purchase it. The downs almost always being the price tag that comes along with buying classic, impossible-to-find items that have been out of production for close to 30 years.
I’m not exactly sure what year Wescosa went out of business and ceased production, but I know it was the early to mid-nineties. Back when everything was still high quality and plentiful, back before everybody everywhere decided to use COVID as an excuse to jack up prices on just about everything bought & sold on Planet Earth.
Anyway…for those who’ve never heard of, or heard about but have never had a chance to buy the OG-Triple-OG Wescosa Ultras & Minis, now’s your chance. I came across a few listings on eBay a little over a week ago and saw two posts that stuck out- one for a dozen NOS Ultrawides still in the box and another for a dozen Miniwides still in the box.
The mental illness kicked into high gear and I said “I got to have them jawns” so I hollered at the seller, who was willing to come down on the ridiculously-high listing prices for both if I bought both listings, which I had planned on doing anyway.
So low and behold a week goes by and the arrived a day early. one dozen each of old, dusty, NOD deadstock Wescosa OG’s in their respective boxes.
So I decided to share the wealth or whatever you call it with other collectors of vintage, classic graffiti supplies.
Both markers are available on the website (Illadel.Ink) but buyers beware, these are not your regularly-priced empty markers you just fill, use, ruin & trash. These need to be on a shelf next to your old Rusto Big-Face Scottie & Krylon Border Script & Notch-Top cans…gazed upon in complete awe & appreciation.
The prices for both are: Mini-Wide- $100.00USD, Ultra-Wide- $125.00USD (before shipping is added). That does sound like alot of money for an empty marker, but everything ain’t for everybody and those who know, know that’s a solid price.
There are Wescosa Minis listed on eBay nowhere near the NOS condition of these going for $150.00-$175.00 each. That’s a bit much I must say, but when it comes to a product that is no longer available and hasn’t been for close to 30 years, some people don’t see an issue with the price, especially since they’re in such great unused NOS condition.
Sure there are the reissues/remakes that came out sometime around 2014-2015, but they ain’t the OG’s…they ain’t the Wescosa minis & ultras.
So to all the serious collectors & vintage graff supplies junkies like myself, they’re both posted on the website in extremely limited quantities of 10 of each marker.
Check em out, buy one, buy two, don’t buy any, hop in the comments on my IG and complain if you want lol. All I know is I’m sittin’ pretty with 2 dozen Wescosas.
