It is with great sadness that Born X Raised, the Los Angeles-based clothing line, announced the passing of its founder, Chris “Spanto” Printup. Tragically, Spanto, 42 years old, was involved in a car accident on June 25 and sustained injuries. Regrettably, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday morning in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The news of his untimely death has left the community and the company in mourning. In addition to his profound impact on the fashion industry, Spanto leaves behind a loving family. He is survived by his wife Anna and their three children, Marilyn, Carter, and David.
