Boredom sometimes bring out the creativity and last night I was bored as hell. Ghostbusters II was on TV and, being a huge fan of both of the original Ghostbusters movies (the classics) I figured I would mess around with Vigo the Carpathian. For anyone who doesn’t know who Vigo is or if you haven’t seen Ghostbusters II, Vigo (also known as Prince Vigo Von Homburg Deutschendorf, Scourge of Carpathia, Sorrow of Moldavia, Vigo the Carpathian, Vigo the Cruel, Vigo the Torturer, Vigo the Despised, Vigo the Unholy) is an ancient 16th Century medieval tyrant and sorcerer, who later died in the 17th century. He’s the main antagonist in Ghostbusters II and is portrayed onscreen by Wilhelm von Homburg, and voiced by Max Von Sydow. In short, Vigo was brought back to destroy all of humanity and it was up to the Ghostbusters to save the day.
I’ve been using Photoshop for a long time and was editing images last night when I said lemme fuck around & do a Vigo jawn & see how it turns out. Below is the end result. A quick little piece added to the famous painting of Vigo from Ghostbusters II.
