Raekwon The Chef | Surgical Gloves
When I first heard Surgical Gloves off the “Only Built For Cuban Links 2” album I said “this is the one”. You know how every full-length album that comes out usually has [at least] one banger that just does it all? Well, Surgical Gloves is that one banger. The usual dirty, grimey drug-related street crime lyrics delivered impeccably by one of the best to ever do it. If I could make a request I’d love to hear Ghostface over this mean-ass beat. This is a street-certified sountrack that isn’t even a soundtrack right here. This tracks’ beat & lyrics deliver one of those visuals you only get when listening to Rae.
A few other bangers on the album are 10 Bricks, Catalina, Kiss the Ring, and New Wu, which killed it with the sample of the oldies doo-wop music by the way. Anyway, enough of my rambling, here’s the track.
