Young Slime Life Lawyer Anastasios Manettas Arrested In Court

On Thursday (April 20), Anastasios Manettas, the lawyer representing YSL RICO defendant Miles Farley, was taken into custody at a courtroom checkpoint after being found in possession of prescription drugs. When officers attempted to search his phone in jail, Manettas attempted to throw it to his colleague Chadha Jimenez, but missed and hit an officer, resulting in an additional charge of assaulting an officer. Manettas has since been released on bond, according to Jimenez.

Jimenez expressed confidence that Manettas’ charges would be dropped, and that he would be able to pursue a civil lawsuit against the Sheriff’s Department and the deputies who allegedly violated his rights. Meanwhile, Farley’s bond hearing was scheduled for the same day.

Despite facing a murder charge, Farley has no prior criminal record and is a college graduate. Unlike other YSL defendants who accepted plea deals, Farley refused to admit that YSL was a criminal street gang. Gunna and eight other defendants have already been released from jail after accepting plea deals, while Young Thug has been denied bond multiple times.
