Project Stardust is about to drop and Adobe is killin’ in right now with their whole Creative Cloud suite.

The last time I used more than just Photoshop and Dreamweaver was around 2015 only because I stole the whole Creative Suite. Since then I’ve been using “portable” installations, which let you run directly from the desktop, so I wasn’t aware of all the new stuff they put out since then.

The Creative Cloud suite is off the hook, especially with the AI Generative Fill, so I can only imagine what this new program is gonna be like. Anyway, enough of what I think…here’s the what’s what on “Project Stardust“.

Users who have embraced Generative Fill, Adobe’s remarkable AI-powered editing tool, will be delighted to discover that the company has even more innovations in store. Adobe has unveiled “Project Stardust,” which goes beyond being a single tool and encompasses a comprehensive AI engine designed for editing within its suite of software programs.

In a tantalizing preview video, Adobe showcases the capabilities of this “object-aware editing engine,” which can intelligently identify individual objects within images, granting users the ability to freely reposition and rearrange these objects.

Although Adobe Photoshop already features a similar tool, the lasso tool, this engine provides a more intuitive and powerful approach to reconfiguring objects. For example, the video illustrates how users can seamlessly remove objects from images or transfer them to different layers, thereby manipulating the perception of depth.

Aya PhilĂ©mon, Adobe’s product manager, stated that this engine will “revolutionize how we interact with Adobe products.”
