First Look at the Nike Air Max 1 ’86 World Make
This summer, Nike is introducing a special-edition Nike Air Max 1 ’86 to its lineup. Exclusively released through Nike Korea, this Air Max 1 iteration showcases a unique “World Make” design.
The classic silhouette is constructed using a blend of eco-friendly materials. The upper features a hemp base with woven textile overlays, creating a distinct texture. Contrasting the lighter tones, black accents adorn the edges, while the mudguards and Swoosh are lined with bone-colored tumbled leather. The shoe rests upon a sail midsole, which houses a visible Air-sole unit for enhanced cushioning. Completing the design, a black rubber outsole adds durability. Notably, the tongue labels are stitched with the “WM” (World Make) logo, emphasizing the theme. Additionally, the cork-graphic insoles display the phrases “Designed for sport. Crafted for life. World Make.”
The Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “World Make” will be available at select retailers and online on Nike‘s official website. The retail price is set at $170 USD.
