Handbag-Inspired Air Jordan 1 High OG Praline
In recent years, Nike and the Jumpman team have focused more on their female audience by collaborating with various designers and creating gear tailored specifically for them. Jordan Brand is continuing this trend by introducing a new collection for women, inspired by luxury handbags.
Dubbed the “Praline” colorway, which takes its name from the light brown accent color, this unique design features a satin-like ribbon lacing system that runs through the eyestays, replacing the usual flat laces. The ribbon sports a nude pink color that complements the “Praline” leather accents found on the eyestays, overlays, mudguard, and Swooshes. The base is made of white leather with “Sail” details on the stitched midsole and tongue. The shoe is finished off with a white Wings logo on the collar and additional “Praline” details on the tongue branding and rubber outsole.
Although Nike has not yet announced the release date for the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Praline,” rumors suggest it will be available on September 13th. The shoe is expected to be priced at $180 USD and will be sold at Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers.
