Illadel Metal Etch Mop
The Illadel Metal Etch Mop is a 2oz squeezer that will permanently etch any steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and/or bare metal surfaces containing copper, aluminum or iron.
When hitting your spot you need to squeeze a little bit harder than you normally do with a regular squeeze mop. Just laying a thin coat of the etching fluid on the metal surface will cloud it up permanently, but you want to lay a thick layer down. The etch will sit on the surface and do it’s chemical magic and eat away at the metal, leaving either a brownish stain that will never come out or, depending on the type of metal, it will burn through the metal and leave a dark grey mark with almost black edges.
You should definitely wear gloves when using these mops and keep it in a thick zip-loc baggie, they are not your ordinary squeezer filled with ink. Like Heisenberg said bro “respect the chemistry“.
This is a legit chemical and should be handled as such to avoid serious injuries.

Works as advertised. I was expecting it to burn right away but it takes a few minutes on steel. You have to squeeze a little bit too, I was expecting the etching fluid to run like ink. Burned up a few signs around my way so I’m pleased with the outcome.
