Matthew Williams, the creative force behind 1017 ALYX 9SM and the creative director of Givenchy, has offered a sneak peek at an upcoming collaboration with Nike, utilizing the Air Force 1 Low silhouette as the canvas for this design venture.

In contrast to the previously unveiled Air Force 1 High in 2018 and subsequently released in 2020, which prominently featured the brand’s distinctive roller coaster buckle, the Air Force 1 Low exudes a more subtle aesthetic. In its current iteration, the Low version opts for a more understated look, devoid of any hardware aside from a co-branded deubré.

Expect additional co-branded elements, likely presented through printing, etching, or stitching, to make appearances on the lower section of the heel along the lateral side of the shoe, on the tongue label, and within the insoles. Rendered in black and white, the initial images offer minimal insight into the textures or materials to be employed, making it challenging to discern significant differences from Nike’s regular AF1 at a cursory glance.

Prior to its anticipated release later this month, the Swoosh has unveiled an official visual breakdown of both the all-white and all-black iterations. Emphasizing clarity, Nike has specified that the launch date is set for December 15, and the release will be facilitated through the app at a price point of $155 USD for each pair.
