Nike Mac Attack Red Crush Official Images
Following the highly anticipated return of the Nike Mac Attack to stores, we now have an official glimpse of an exciting new colorway that has never been released before. Known as the “Red Crush,” this design showcases a simple white and red combination, reminiscent of the 1980s aesthetic that would have likely been produced if Nike had pursued John McEnroe’s signature shoe at that time.
It’s important to note that there were only two original colorways for this iconic 1984 model. The first was the recently dropped grey and black version, and the second was a white and black edition that had limited availability. In contrast to those previous releases, which featured a black and blue checkerboard pattern on the tongue, the “Red Crush” introduces a fresh tan and white checker pattern on the tongue.
The rest of the shoe’s construction remains faithful to the original design, including the printed numbers and letters on the interior sockliner. While a specific release date has yet to be revealed, it is hoped that Nike will make this colorway more widely available, allowing enthusiasts to appreciate and enjoy it to the fullest.
