Air Jordan 1 Golf “Pollen” Dropping This Spring
After the holiday season concludes, the prospect of the extended winter can be a source of apprehension. Yet, adopting an optimistic perspective, the days are gradually lengthening, and the Masters golf tournament emerges as the next prominent event on the horizon. Embracing this viewpoint, Jordan Brand introduces the forthcoming Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Pollen.”
As the name implies, this high-top silhouette, transitioning from the basketball courts to the golf links, is saturated in a vivid yellow hue reminiscent of pollen—enough to evoke thoughts of reaching for an antihistamine. Notably, the “Pollen” color scheme draws parallels with previous selections from the Nike and Jumpman collection, such as the 1985 “Iowa” Dunk and the more recent AJ1 High “Pollen” from 2021. This latest iteration closely mirrors the latter, maintaining identical color blocking. Bright yellow dominates the Swooshes, overlays, laces, and outsoles, while the underlying panels, toe boxes, and tongue adopt a sleek black.
The distinctions lie in the updated branding, where the Jumpman now takes a position above the word “Golf,” the incorporation of a more grippy outsole, and a nuanced shift towards a slightly more orange-toned yellow—although this may be influenced by lighting conditions.
Enthusiasts won’t need to wait until Groundhog Day for the opportunity to secure a pair. Anticipate an early 2024 release, with a retail price of $210 USD through Nike.
