Air Jordan 1 Low ’85 “Neutral Grey”
In 2020, sneaker enthusiasts witnessed the iconic return of Jordan Brand’s renowned Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 and Air Ship silhouettes through the “New Beginnings” pack. Following that, the former model has been released in a plethora of both new and classic colorways. Now, its counterpart, the Air Jordan 1 Low ’85, is preparing to make its own mark this upcoming fall, featuring beloved styles like the timeless “Neutral Grey” colorway.
Recently, initial images of the retro pair have come to light, showcasing its immaculate design details. The majority of the upper is crafted from pristine white leather panels, while the distinctive “Neutral Grey” hue takes center stage on the Swooshes, heel overlays, and Nike branding adorning the tongues. Traditional Air Jordan wings logos grace the heels, filled in with a subtle grey tone. In order to evoke a vintage appearance, the midsoles have been subtly aged with a slightly yellowed paint application, complemented by matching “Neutral Grey” treads on the outsole. While drawing parallels with the 2021 release of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Neutral Grey” colorway is possible, this upcoming iteration remains faithful to the original 1985 shape and presentation.
Anticipate the availability of these sneakers via SNKRS and handpicked retailers starting October 25, priced at $170 USD.
