To mark the culmination of Michael Jordan’s first three-peat championship, the Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” has made its official appearance in imagery ahead of its release in late September. As the final addition to Jordan Brand’s Fall release lineup, this release commemorates the 30th anniversary of MJ’s eighth signature silhouette. The model is returning to its original 1993 specifications.
Crafted with premium jet-black nubuck, chenille branding, and graphic liners, this iteration of the Air Jordan 8 is infused with a sense of nostalgia. Notably, the sidewall graphic makes its comeback after last appearing in 2013. Bright red accents illuminate the heel tab and the stitched #23 on the shroud, while concord blue details adorn the front of the outsole.
The Air Jordan 8 “Playoffs” is set to launch in a full range of sizes, catering to the entire family, on September 30th. The retail price for this iconic release will be $210.
