During this interim period, before eventually joining Nike, he experimented with various brands and shoe designs, including the Air Flight Huarache in Los Angeles Lakers-themed colorways. More than two decades after gracing NBA courts in those kicks, the “Lakers Away” version of this silhouette is finally set to make its debut in the market.
The color scheme of the Nike Air Flight Huarache “Lakers Away” draws inspiration from the Lakers franchise, incorporating their renowned “Varsity Purple” and “Del Sol” shades, elegantly juxtaposed beneath a dominant black hue. The upper features a blend of neoprene, canvas, and nubuck materials, complemented by yellow branding on the tongue and purple accents at the heel. The sneaker’s sole unit is black, with the outsole predominantly adorned with purple and gold elements.
