Serena Williams Design Crew Takes the Nike Air Huarache to the Next Level

In recent years, Serena Williams has gained attention off the tennis court through her collaborative efforts with Nike, specifically the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC). Earlier this year, their partnership resulted in unique interpretations of the Air More Uptempo and Air Max 90 Futura. Now, it has been unveiled that more exciting releases are in store, including versions of the Dunk Low Disrupt 2, Air Max 1, and the Air Huarache.

For the Air Huarache, SWDC has taken a distinctive approach by giving the sneaker a laceless design. This modification results in a noticeably higher neoprene upper with the signature design theme of the new collection featured around the collar. Predominantly dressed in white, accents of teal and gold are sparingly incorporated into the design.

As of now, specific release details regarding the Nike Air Huarache from the Serena Williams Design Crew remain undisclosed by both parties. However, considering the impending launch of the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 later this month, it’s likely that this iteration will arrive on shelves soon through Nike and select retailers. The price point for this release has yet to be determined.
