The Air Jordan Tatum 1 “Snow Cone” PE Debut
The Jordan Tatum 1 “Snow Cone” PE is inspired by him and his son’s favorite summer snack, or so the story goes. Teaming up with senior Jordan Brand designer Kelsey Amy, Jayson Tatum has consistently curated an impressive collection of Player Exclusives within the current landscape of NBA signature athletes and endorsers.
Ranging from his Ford Mustang-inspired Air Jordan 14s to a diverse array of meticulously designed creations spanning the Jordan game shoe spectrum and his inaugural signature model, Tatum recently unveiled a fresh iteration of his Jordan Tatum 1 PE, drawing inspiration from a snow cone.
Staying true to Tatum’s off-court preferences and personal connections, the light blue silhouette takes cues from the frosty treat that has become a beloved summer indulgence for Tatum and his son, Deuce. Every detail, from the rubber sole unit to the leather heel counter and tongue, to the engineered mesh enveloping most of the forefoot, is bathed in a subtle baby blue shade.
The color intensifies along the spine and the dominant pull tab, creating a visually striking effect. Crisp white laces and an embroidered Jumpman logo add a touch of contrast, while a vibrant multi-color gradient adorns the upper overlays and the porous outsole, reminiscent of the syrupy concoctions poured over shaved ice.
Notably, the medial tongue’s Deuce logo and the heel’s snow cone insignia feature the same array of captivating shades. Although the Jordan Tatum 1 “Snow Cone” won’t be available for a wider release, enthusiasts can anticipate spotting this exclusive pair in upcoming games featuring Tatum and the Boston Celtics. In the interim, detailed images of the sneakers offer a preview of this unique and personalized design.
